Princess Noor put in another jaw-dropping work as we draw closer to the Breeders’ Cup. Going six furlongs on the Santa Anita, Princess Noor flanked her workmate, but was wanting to do much more, under very tight hold by the exercise rider to maintain steady fractions. Outside of stablemate Spielberg – a highly regarded juvenile male from the Baffert barn – Princess Noor drew upon even terms at the top of the stretch, then spurted clear by two lengths crossing the wire from slight encouragement by the pilot. Princess Noor completed the breeze in 1:11.80 – a bullet drill on the day of twelve outings clocked.

XBTV also sat down with trainer Bob Baffert to reflect on Princess Noor and her condition, now less than two weeks from the big event…
